Currently, there is not specific regulation of Advance Directives in Luxembourg.
The ADs in Louxembourg can be named as:
- Directives de fin de vie
- Directives anticipées (de volontés)
- Déclaration anticipée
- Testament de vie
Generally speaking, the citizens of Luxembourg do not complete ADs. No register of ADs exists in Luxembourg. As a result, it is impossible to know whether some people have already completed them, whether before a notary public or by another method.
