ABOUT THE TEAM OF THE ADVANCE DIRECTIVES COLLABORATORY 

Pablo Simón-Lorda got his PhD in Medicine at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 1996 with a work about "informed consent". He specialized in family medicine between 1991 and 1994 in Madrid, and became Master in Bioethics at the University Complutense of Madrid- Spain in 1993. For several years he served as a general practitioner in Madrid, and since 2005 he stays at the Andalusian School of Public Health in Granada-Spain, as lecturer and researcher in bioethics. His current research interests include informed consent, ethical problems at the end-of-life and the ethics of healthcare organizations. pablo.simon.easp@juntadeandalucia.es  

Maria Isabel Tamayo-Velázquez got her PhD in Psychology at the University of Grenade-Spain in 2010. She has been working as a researcher at the Andalusian School of Public Health in Spain since 2005 and her current research interests include all aspects related to bioethics and specially end-of-life decision making. mariai.tamayo.easp@juntadeandalucia.es  

Inés María Barrio-Cantalejo got his PhD in Medicine at the University Autónoma of Madrid-Spain in 2007, with a work about "Readability of written materials aimed to patients". He got his BSN at the University of Valladolid-Spain in 1983. Later she worked as an hospitalisation nurse and a primary care nurse in Madrid for 20 years, and as Nursing Ethics Lecturer in the School of Nursing La Paz in Madrid. Since 2005 she works in Granada as a researcher in the Research Foundation of West Andalusia (FIBAO). She is interested in research about advance directives, readability and ethical aspects of qualitative research. imbarrio@fundacionhvn.org  

María José González Rubio is a university diplomated in nursery at Navarra University (Spain). She has worked more than 10 years with cronical and oncological patients and nowadays she works in emergency surgery. Since 2005 she forms part of a group of investigation and implantation of advanced directives. She is interested in fomenting respect in decision taken by patients in their illness and at the moment of passing by, such as any investigation related with this topic. mjgonzalezr@hotmail.com
